This large-scale project involved the conversion of two barns into beautiful five-bedroom homes, complete with renewable energy options built in.
The project
Barn One
Duration: July 2018-April 2019

- Direct working relationship with the client for project management
Scope of works:
- Conversion of existing concrete framed agricultural barn to new five-bedroom house
- Blockwork walls clad externally with through colour render and composite cladding
- Contract from start to completion
Included in the project was the supply and installation of an air source heat pump for the hot water and central heating systems. The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) helps eligible households to offset the cost of their renewable installation. The scheme offers quarterly payments to homeowners over a seven-year period, based on estimates of the property’s annual heating consumption.
Barn Two
